What do students from AP Studio Art, Painting and Beginning Drawing have in common? They went to the Garfield Park Conservatory with Mrs. Michaelson! Students and faculty enjoyed the "Solarise" exhibit and of course the huge variety of sensational gardens at the conservatory. Sculptures were placed in surprising places throughout the space. Students took photographs to use for their portfolios and as resources for drawings, paintings and sculptures. On the way back to school, our bus took a leisurely drive through the historic suburb of Riverside, designed by Frederick Law Olmsted.
