A follow up to our Feburary 24th post. Last Tuesday March 10 Leanne Brown came to Sandburg to meet the students from Art Club and to recieve the leagacy project we made for her and her school: Prairie Elementary. She was so thrilled and pleased with our work. Also, Carla Erdey (the Director of Communications of D230), Tony Sosnowski (our Art Department Chair) and a Felicitas Cortez (a reporter from the Orland Park Prairie)came to join and document the celebration.
Ms. Brown shared with the students the impact their work will have on all students at Prairie Elementary and how this project will have a lasting legacy in District 135.
